Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use apply to your use of the Secure Home Partners website and any calls you make through it. Secure Home Partners is operated by Mavaos, LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
What we do
Secure Home Partners is an independent referral service. We are not a home security provider, installer or monitoring company. When you call or submit a request, we connect you with licensed home security providers, including the companies listed on our marketing partners page that serve your area. We are paid for these referrals.
We do not guarantee that a provider will be available in your area, that you will qualify for any offer, or any particular price, installation date or result. Any agreement you make for equipment, installation or monitoring is between you and the provider, under the provider's terms.
Information on this site
Equipment, pricing, installation dates, monitoring and contract terms are set by the home security provider you are connected with, not by us. Any install timing or offer we describe is an estimate until the provider confirms it.
The site is for general information only and is not professional security, legal or financial advice.
Referral partner program
Businesses that join our referral partner program receive a referral code and may earn a fee when a customer they refer buys and installs a qualifying home security system. Fee amounts, eligibility, payment timing and any other conditions are set out in the separate partner agreement you receive when you join. If anything on this site conflicts with your partner agreement, the partner agreement controls.
Submitting a partner application does not make you a partner. We may accept or decline any application.
Partners must not make claims about pricing, equipment or service on our behalf or on behalf of any provider, and must follow all laws that apply to how they promote the program, including laws about calls, texts and email.
Calls, texts and your information
If you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, you agree that we and the providers named in the consent you accepted may contact you as described in that consent. You can opt out at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree to give accurate information, and to give only your own contact details. Do not submit information about another person without their permission.
Using the site
You may use the site only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or resell the site or its content, except as allowed by law;
- interfere with the site, its security or its call tracking;
- submit false, fraudulent or automated requests or calls;
- use the site to violate any law or anyone's rights.
Ownership
The site, including its design, text, graphics and data compilations, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. Other companies' names and logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify them. Their use does not mean they endorse us.
Other websites
The site may link to other websites, including providers' sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.
Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PRODUCTS, SERVICES, ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF ANY PROVIDER.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROPERTY, DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY PROVIDER'S PRODUCTS OR SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED $100. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Essex County, Massachusetts, and you agree to their jurisdiction. Changes
